As you already know, our school has bought iPads for our students next year. In an effort to enhance student learning, increase parent communication, and allow for open forum discussion I challenge YOU to help design an application that can be opened on iPads and iPhones.
Our app should offer the following features....
Basilica information
News and announcements
Calendar and Events
Photos
Schedules
Parent/Teacher/Student Communication
Who knows, maybe you app will be selected for our school! With you help we can get the most from our new technology!
Please watch the following video on how to create an App with appsbuilder.com

6th: Today in class we will begin to build our websites (woo hoo!). The majority of the class will be spent doing some good, old fashioned, hands-on learning. You will be clicking through designs, templates, fonts, colors, etc. as you lay down the design foundations for your website. Remember to think about what will be most visually pleasing and easy to navigate for your customers. Your website must include this information.

Hello!
As you May 13th is Mothers Day. Today we are going to create a bookmark for our Mothers and grandmothers in Microsoft Word. We will begin by opening a new document and setting it up into three columns. Next, we will copy and paste the template below into each of the 3 columns. You will complete each line of the poem to describe your mom/grandma. Obviously, you will change out 'Mom' for Grandma/Abuela/etc.
After we have written our three poems you will open your picture and upload it onto each of your 3 book marks. You will format the font size, color, and style so that your poem appears beautifly oon your book mark. I will print out your book marks on the color printer and we will cut and laminate them so that they will be ready for a hole punch and a ribbon and will be sent home to your moms next week.
My mom is (two
special characteristics about person)
Mom wonders
Mom hears
Mom sees
Mom wants
My mom is (first
line of the poem repeated)
Mom pretends
Mom feels
Mom laughs
Mom worries
Mom loves
My mom is (first
line of poem repeated)
Mom understands
Mom says
Mom dreams
Mom tries
My mom is (first
line of poem repeated)
